You're invited to a special Seeing Race Through Faith training in Dayton, Feb 22!

Thanks to the support of Dayton Urban Lutheran Allies (DULA), the Southern Ohio Synod’s Race Relations Task Force workshop “Seeing Race Through Faith,” is being offered in Dayton!

This dialogue is designed to aid us in identifying the hidden symbols and messages in our faith practices that often perpetuate racism in our church, communities, and world. We look forward to engaging in dialogue with congregational members, rostered ministers, and others in the church interested in exploring how our faith intersects with the racial tensions in God's work. Attendees will engage in dialogue, ask questions, and help one another improve our understanding on race so that we can be better equipped for mission in God's world.

Saturday, Feb 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
St John’s Lutheran Church, 141 S. Ludlow St, Dayton, OH.

Cost is $10 per person for lunch and will be collected on-site at the church.  Cash or check will be accepted—please make checks payable to “St. John’s Lutheran Church”.
Free parking is available behind the church, and street parking is free on Saturdays.
