Remembering and checking in on our congregations regarding storm damage

“O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast and our eternal home:” (ELW 632 v. 1)

Siblings in Christ, Even as we continue to live in COVID-19, storms rage around us with the weather.

We remember today the tornados that hit the Dayton area last year and continue to pray for those affected and still suffering. Recovery is far from over.

This morning we remember and pray for all those now affected by these last days of rain and flooding all over the synod territory, in Cincinnati, Columbus, South Eastern and Southwestern Ohio.

We know of at least one congregation that has water in the basement. Please check in with any one of us in the Bishop’s office and let us know how things are in your areas.

“Before the hills in order stood or earth received its frame from everlasting you are God, to endless years the same.” (ELW 632 v. 3).
