You're invited to the Faith Friday Ask the Experts: Reentry Roundtable, June 12

 

The Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives in partnership with OSU College of Social Work and Chosen4Change is hosting a reentry round-table discussion about the impact of COVID-19.

The Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is encouraging Ohio faith and nonprofit leaders to build a community response of support for those involved in the criminal justice system, as well as their families and the community.

A panel of experts representing will raise the awareness of the immediate basic needs of those individuals leaving incarceration and returning back into society and host engaging conversations to address the concerns that are keeping you up at night.

We will utilize multiple and cross disciplines to take a closer look at the dynamics. Having multiple eyes on the challenges, barriers, and issues that individuals and families face within the criminal justice system, we will utilize multiple and cross disciplines to take a closer look at the dynamics.

The panelists include:

  • Dr. Patrice Palmer, Chosen4Change
  • Dr. Michele Reynolds, Governors Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
  • Dr. Mike Davis, Director of Religious Services, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
  • Dr. Samantha Boch, Nationwide Children's Hospital
  • Mrs. Jenny Eversole, The LOOP
  • Mr. Steve David, OSU College of Social Work
