Letter of solidarity from Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland

Last week, the Evangelical Church in Germany/Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) sent a letter of solidarity to Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton on the murder of George Floyd while in police custody and the subsequent movement of protests and demonstrations that have swept across the United States.  The letter was sent from Bishop Petra Busse-Huber, Head for Ecumenical Relations and Ministries Abroad.

We are grateful for the partnership we share with the the EKD and wanted to share their letter with our synod. We are stronger and better together as we join Jesus in the restoration of the world.
