Family, friends and partners in the ministry at FELC in Columbus regarding the death of Mr. Jon Swanson

Please keep the faith community at First English Lutheran Church in Columbus in your prayers as they mourn the loss of one of their key servant leaders, Jon Swanson. Mr. Swanson had a burden for prison ministry and worked for several years, even while fighting stage 4 cancer, to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of those in our local prison system. He touched and changed many lives during his ministry.

We ask that you also keep Jon's wife, Peggy, and all of those he ministered to in your prayers and ask that they be comforted by the hope found in the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
