We lift up in prayer our Companion Synod in Brazil: Sinodo Espirito Santo a Belem as they hold their annual assembly virtually on September 26.

Bishop Dillahunt, Pr. Mick Althauser, and Pr. Bob Abrams met with the President of Espiritu Santo Synod of the Lutheran Church of Brazil, a pastor in that synod, and two ELCA representatives to discuss our ongoing cooperation, the challenges of ministry during the pandemic, and what lessons are being learned. They asked for prayer for their upcoming assembly and for guidance regarding church in the midst of COVID.
