Family and friends of Rev. James Rave regarding his passing

The Northwestern Ohio Synod expresses sympathy to the family of
Rev. James Allen Rave. Pastor Rave, 85, passed away into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
James was a graduate of Capital University and had Divinity and Masters Degrees from Trinity Seminary Columbus, Ohio. He served congregations: Abiding Savior in Columbus; Atonement in Springdale; and Emanuel in Marion.
He was Bishop of N.W.O.S. from 1987-1998. In retirement, he served as interim Bishop of Florida Bahamas Synod for 1 year, and as interim pastor in Port Orange, FL and in Palm Coast, FL. He was in active ministry for 50 years. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Palm Coast, Florida
