Update: Pr. Ralph Wolfe's father passed away Saturday, July 26--Please continue to keep the family in your prayers

On Saturday, July 26, 2014, Pr. Ralph Wolfe's father 'passed peacefully into the hand of his waiting savior.' Pr. Wolfe shared this news with Bishop Dillahunt via email and wished to thank everyone for their prayers.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 1 at Schoedingers Worthington chapel on High Street from 3-6 pm. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 3 at 4 pm at Linden Lutheran Church, 1230 Oakland Park, Columbus. The family will receive friends there from 2-4 pm as well. 

Pr. Ralph Wolfe has asked for prayers for his father who, after his wife's (Pr. Wolfe's mother) death three months ago, has declined in health significantly. He is in a nursing facility and is surrounded by family who are there to help him as he transitions into this final stage of life.

We ask that you pray for strength for the family as well as peace. May Pr. Wolfe's dad be brought home to the Father peacefully and with the full assurance of the Cross.
