Congratulations to Deaconess Candidate Lisa Marie Reshad on Being Invested into the ELCA Deaconess Community

Lisa Marie Reshad was invested into the ELCA Deaconess Community on August 21, 2014. Investiture (She was also Endorsed in the candidacy process) recognizes a candidate as a deaconess, and bestows the title of "Sister" on the candidate to mark the shift in her ministerial identity. Sister Lisa will engage in a one-year internship, upon the completion of which she will become eligible for consecration as a Word & Service minister. She looks forward to partnering with Christ Lutheran Church (Athens, OH) and Church Next as her internship experience.
