Columbus Delegation 2009

Central Ohio DOs attended the OOA House of Delegates in Sandusky, June 19-20, 2009. Delegates reviewed 20 resolutions including new and existing policy statements. In addition, they adopted six new positions regarding charity care, e-prescribing software, FMLA, medical equipment default language, AED availability, and controlled substance prescriptions.

COA President John A. Cocumelli, DO, served as delegation chair. Speaker of the House John F. Uslick, DO, of Canton, and Vice Speaker Stuart B. Chesky, DO, of Vermilion, presided over the two-day meeting.
