OOA Voices Support for HB122/SB 98

The OOA voiced support for HB 122 and SB 98, which establish requirements for health care insurers who rate physicians using a designation system.  In a letter to Sen. Stephen Buehrer, chair of the Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committee, Executive Director Jon F. Wills outlined several reasons why the bill should be enacted, noting methodology and data used by insurers to rank physicians must be transparent, accurate, and verifiable.  He said the bill promotes accurate, safe, and effective health care transparency.
