CSCA 2024 Convention Safety Protocol and Code of Conduct

Last Edited January 7, 2024 - Please check back regularly for additional updates.

The CSCA Executive Committee will monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Michigan, Kent County, and Grand Rapids communities over the next few months (CDC COVID-19 Community Level). For the CSCA 2024 Convention, we will implement the current safety measures recommended by the CDC and state and local public health officials.

The CDC recommends wearing a mask indoors in public and on public transportation, staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, and getting tested if you have symptoms. If you are at high risk for severe illness, consider taking additional precautions.

Currently, there is no mask mandate in Grand Rapids. The CDC encourages everyone to wear a mask in public settings, especially when the COVID-19 Community Levels are medium or high. View CDC guidance on mask wearing [www.cdc.gov]. There are no travel restrictions to the City of Grand Rapids.

We will continue to work closely with Amway Grand Plaza management, Experience Grand Rapids, and Kent County Health Department to monitor state and local guidance. The above protocols are subject to change if state and local guidance changes.

To promote an ethical, equitable, and inclusive CSCA convention experience, please review the CSCA Code of Conduct.
