Resident Representative

Christina Kim, DO

Christina Kim was born as a South Korean citizen in the Philippines where her parents served as missionaries. She grew up everywhere from New York, South Carolina, and California, but calls Washington state her home. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from Elmira College in New York in 2016.
Christina received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences - COMPNW in Oregon in 2022 where she developed an interest in policy and advocacy, advocating for osteopathic medical students and meeting with Oregon state representatives about patient health and wellness.
She stayed in the Pacific Northwest and is currently training at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Tacoma, WA where she also served as the resident representative for the ACEP Washington chapter. As the GSACEP resident representative, Christina hopes to be an advocate for her resident peers who are the future in emergency medicine.
