The GSACEP Public Relations and Advocacy Committee was created in 2021 in order to address the needs of the membership. Our work is based on the GSACEP Strategic plan and has focused on two main strategic goals.
- Ensure a highly connected and engaged membership, leading to higher recruitment and retention
- Amplifying the voices of military and federal emergency physicians through national level advocacy efforts
- Member Engagement Survey to identify those issues most important to our members
- Authoring ACEP council resolutions to help guide the work of the college
- Local and national advocacy efforts, supported by ACEP resources
We ware proud of what we’ve accomplished so far but know there’s more work to be done. We look forward to continuing our efforts on your behalf and welcome anyone interested in getting more involved by joining the committee.
