The ORCA 9th Annual Golf Tournament is in the books and what a great day it was!  Once the rain went away, we could not have asked for more perfect weather, the sun came out of hiding and shone on all the golfers that day at Belmar Golf Course. As always, we had the best group of participants, sponsors, and staff and on behalf of Oklahoma Roofing Contractors Association we would like to thank all of you for your support in making this years’ 9th Annual Golf Tournament a success. There were so many fun times shared, relationships formed, and unforgettable memories made. Thank you again and we already can’t wait until next year, hope to see you there!

ORCA’s Golf Outing & Dinner has been a big success. What better way to spend a day in the early fall, but on the Golf Course, with a good excuse at that. ORCA’s Golf Outing Sponsorships make the day a financial success which is used to support ORCA Programs and Education. Listed below are opportunities available.

• Hole Sponsors – Sponsor a hole and receive a sign at the hole for the complete golf outing to see. Hole sponsors are also listed in signage, and on the ORCA Website.
• Prize Sponsors – Each year, a huge door prize inventory is given to attendees. It’s always fun to take something home from the outing. Almost everyone gets something. Gain recognition at the outing and on the ORCA Website for your sponsorship.
• Other Sponsors - Other areas needing sponsorship include Beverage Cart, Lunch, Trophy, Dinner, Scorecards, Scoreboard, Golf Cart, Goodybags, and many more options.

ORCA's 7th Annual Golf Tournament was a great success with 82 members and their guests taking a day to relax and have a little fun while raising money for a good cause. After several years at Lincoln Golf Course, we made the switch this year and the tournament was held at Rose Creek Golf Course. Not a normal year by any means with Covid-19, but we were still able to raise over $10,000 for ORCA.  We have such awesome members and sponsors!  Thank you.

Players started this year’s Tournament with lunch sponsored by Rich & Cartmill and ended the evening with some great appetizers sponsored by Hailtrace

Waiting in their carts was an extra full “goody bag” for each player that included drawstring backpack from Polyglass, Golf tees & bumper stickers from Roofers Coffee Shop, Bracelets from HailTrace, ORCA notepad and pen and couple snacks with a Gatorade to stay hydrated. 

With the help of our sponsorship dollars and donations from several companies, we were able to purchase gift cards, golf balls, certificates and much more.  We hope you were one of the lucky winners! In addition to prizes purchased by ORCA from our Sponsors MND Maples, Nix & Diesselhorst Attorneys at Law and Malarkey.  We want to thank these companies for their raffle donations: Hometown Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, Red Door Escape Room, BJ's, Twin Peaks, S&B Burger, Big O's, BURN, Sweet Things and Mudd Print & Promo, Okie Express, Top Golf and Rose Creek.

We especially want to thank all our volunteers who helped with the various activities throughout the day. Karen Bernard & Jennifer Merchant for making sure everyone got checked in properly.  Jarred Lane, Marion Whorton, Meredith & Casey Marsh-Shaevitz for filling coolers with ice and drinks and placing all the goodie bags on the carts for our players.  David Corona for helping setup signs and directing people in the right direction.  Susan Fye (my one and only sidekick) for doing everything with me, from setup to making sure the whole Tournament ran as smooth as possible!

Sporting Clay Tournament 

Thank you to all who attended the 2021 ORCA Sporting Clay Tournament on April 23, 2021 at the Tulsa Gun Club!
