Ohio Tick Symposium

The 3rd Ohio Regional Tick Symposium and Ohio Mosquito & Vector Control Association Annual Meeting are scheduled for Oct. 27-28 at the Ohio State University and will feature a presentation by Krista Duval, DO.

The goal of the symposium is to assemble a diverse community of researchers, educators, public health officials, health practitioners, and pest management specialists in order to prevent and mitigate the burgeoning threat of tick-borne disease in Ohio and the surrounding region.

Dr. Duval will be doing a presentation on Alpha-Gal Syndrome.

The symposium will be held 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27. The OMVCA meeting will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 28.
