Educational Program Coordinator

Association of College & University Housing Officers - International | Columbus, OH

Position Summary:

The Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I) is seeking an Educational Program Coordinator.  With general guidance from the Senior Director of Business Operations, the coordinator facilitates and makes independent decisions regarding high-quality educational programs, knowledge resources, and services for campus housing and residence life professionals across the globe.

Primary Responsibilities:

Focusing on supporting several key areas of the education portfolio, including DEI programming and affinity network support, the coordinator:

  • Assists with the development and execution of continuing and new content offerings that are fresh and relevant to housing and residence life professionals and consistent with the association’s mission and its strategic priorities
  • Acts acts as a key leader in the implementation of our expanding virtual programing
  • Serves as a liaison between the home office and various volunteer leaders, subject matter experts, and committees across the organization
  • Plans and collaborates with other ACUHO-I staff on marketing, communications, and budgeting
  • Coordinates development of content with subject matter experts and resources for assigned knowledge areas
  • Develops and maintains productive partnerships internal and external to the association

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, adult learning, or relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four (4) to eight (8) years of full-time experience in association or non-profit management.
  • Desired: Master’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, adult learning, or relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in planning and implementing adult learning programming. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage concurrent projects.

Required Travel: Potentially 15%-20% for this position

Target Hire Range: $49,800-$66,400

ACUHO-I is affiliated with The Ohio State University. This position will be located at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters, which is just east of university's main campus, with the opportunity for a hybrid or fully virtual work arrangement.
