ASAE Honors Six at 20th Summit Awards Dinner

The winners were selected from a total of 114 applications

ASAE and the association community celebrated six Summit Award-winning associations at the 20th Anniversary Power of A-Summit Awards Dinner last night at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

The winners were selected by the Power of A Awards Judging Committee from a total of 114 applications. Through the Power of A Awards, ASAE honors the outstanding accomplishments of associations in the categories of Enriching Lives, Creating a Competitive Workforce, Preparing Society for the Future, Driving Innovation and Making a Better World.

This year’s award winners were the American Geophysical Union, American Society of Hematology, Georgia Association of Convenience Stores, IEEE Power Electronics Society, National Auto Body Council and the Water Environment Federation. In addition to the six Summit Award winners, the Power of A Awards Judging Committee selected 12 association programs to receive a Power of A Gold Award and 24 associations to receive a Power of A Silver Award.

ASAE’s Power of A-Summit Awards Dinner brings together association executives, industry partners and business and community leaders for an evening to celebrate the value of associations and their impact on society. The dinner is a fundraiser for ASAE’s Power of A Fund, which helps support ASAE’s advocacy activities on behalf of the association sector.
