Acronyms Are Making Us Dumber

Most people can't decipher them quickly or easily

Do you abbreviate everything? Does Tanya become Tan and then T? Acronyms are a huge problem. Why? The way you communicate determines if all the hard work you put in every day amounts to anything at all.

Acronyms can become like an invisible force that muffles what you write or what you say so that no one can understand you. They turn your audience into deaf people who desperately want to understand you but can’t because you’ve chosen to be a total imbecile and talk in Morse code.

The problem is most of us don’t have the Morse code machine to decipher your on/off signals that are these acronyms you parade around like you’re smart.
