If You Regularly Use These Three Words, You're Smarter Than You Think

You don't have a monopoly on making the best decisions

If you lead people, the natural temptation is to have it all together. Or, at least, the temptation is to appear like you have it all together. After all, you’re the leader, the one in charge. People look to you to make decisions, and they depend on you to have the answers when they have questions. That means the temptation to have answers can make it hard to admit when you don't.

Except, it turns out that no one has all the answers. No one is an expert on everything. Of course, that doesn't stop us from having opinions-;often, for the sake of having an opinion. Believe it or not, it's totally okay not to have an answer or even an opinion.

In fact, there are three words you should practice using regularly: I don't know.
