Ohio Offers Support to Businesses for Council of Great Lakes Governors Trade Missions

The Ohio Department of Development's International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE) program reimburses small Ohio businesses 50 percent, or up to $10,000, of eligible expenses related to trade missions.

Eligible expenses include:

• Registration fee
• Hotels (limited to 2 people at U.S. Department of State’s Foreign per diem rate)
• Airfare (limited to 2 people flying economy)
• Translation of marketing materials

The International Market Support (IMS) program manages in-country representatives in 135 countries. Through the IMS program, Development offers complimentary market research briefs and appointment setting for each country.

The Council of Great Lakes Governors is leading two trade missions in the upcoming months:

• Nov. 3-13, 2024 – Spain, Portugal and Morocco Trade Mission
  
  
• April 6-11, 2025 – South Korea Trade Mission
