All non-profits are feeling the pinch of decreased giving. Here are a couple of ways the SOS has cut costs to allow for more funds to go to ministry.

One-day Stewardship Academies coming to a location near you in 2018!

Sponsored by the Southern Ohio Stewardship Team, the Stewardship Academy is an opportunity for congregational leaders (rostered and lay) to "retool" their congregation's stewardship ministry.

This Changes Everything--2018 ELCA Youth Gathering

Attention all groups taking buses to Houston...We have a group looking for 10 seats for the Youth Gathering AND we are looking for some cargo space for 'Blast Off' books that will be collected at synod assembly this year. Lutheran World Relief has partnered with the University of Minnesota Center for Integrated Natural Resources & Agricultural Management (CINRAM) to gather and sell palms from Mexico and Guatemala in a socially and environmentally just way.

Bishop Munib Younan to speak on 'Refugee Crisis' and 'Opportunities and Challenges of Interfaith work in Jerusalem'

Bishop Munib Younan, recently retired Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jordan and the Holy Land, and former president of Lutheran World Federation will speak on March 11 & 12 in West Chester and at Wittenberg University.

Unite to End Racism Rally April 3-5 in Washington, D.C.

'ACT NOW: Unite to End Racism' is both a rally and a call to action, organized by the National Council of Churches with partners: the National African American Clergy Network, Conference of National Black Churches, Sojourners, Franciscan Action Network, Churches Uniting in Christ, and Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, and its member communions.
