Pulpit Supply 'did you knows'

Every congregation needs someone to fill in for the pastor from time-to-time. Some congregations rely on our Pulpit Supply Coordinator to provide a pastor multiple times a month because the congregation is in the process of calling a new pastor or cannot afford to hire a part-time or full-time pastor. VBS Curriculum- FREE for all ELCA Congregations

Roy and Kathryn Hickes Scholarship program accepting applications for 2017-18

The Hickes Education Award is available to Lutherans of any age residing in the Southern Ohio Synod and the Ohio Mission District of the North American Lutheran Church; however, members of the congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church, Springfield, Ohio, receive special consideration during the selection process. Applicants may be rostered with the Southern Ohio Synod or the Ohio Mission District of the North American Lutheran Church but enrolled in programs/schools located outside of southern Ohio. Deadline for registration is Feb 24.

Ralston Deffenbaugh, a human rights lawyer working for the church, will address what it means to be Lutheran in today’s multi-religious world during the 13th Annual Lecture on World Religions and Interreligious Relations, sponsored by the Theological Consortium of Greater Columbus.
