As an Association we strive to create an environment that allows industry awareness and a sense of comradery. Our relationships with Members of the WSPMA are open and honest and help to provide self discipline. I want to share an incident involving a long-term client, Alice, who was manipulated by an aggressive door-to-door salesperson from another pest control company. Despite her initial refusals, the salesperson pressured her into signing a contract which she immediately regretted. After advocating on her behalf, Alice was able to cancel the agreement without a penalty. This experience underscores the need to uphold integrity and protect vulnerable individuals in our communities. I urge all of us to maintain high ethical standards, serve the public with honesty, and hold each other accountable. Let's protect our clients and our industry's reputation.

The Washington State Pest Management Association's Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) chapter is proud to be featured in the Helping Hand House Summer 2024 Newsletter. Our collective efforts have significantly supported Helping Hand House's mission to provide hope and housing for families in crisis. Our recent collaboration has helped empower 80 families, including 126 parents and 180 children, to find new hope and build a brighter future. We are honored to contribute to such meaningful work within our communities, reinforcing the transformative impact of coming together to support those in need.
