WF&FSA Executive Accepts New V. P. Position at NAW

The Wholesale Florist & Florist Suppliers Association (WF&FSA), today announced that Patricia A. ‘Trish’ Lilly, Executive Vice President of WF&FSA, will join the staff at the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW). Lilly, who has served the WF&FSA Board and membership since 2010, will become NAW’s Senior Vice President – Thought Leadership. Molly Alton Mullins will join WF&FSA as Interim Executive Vice President.

Ms. Lilly has served NAW in volunteer capacities and as a member of the NAW Board of Directors for many years, as Chair and member of the Association Executives Council and as a member of NAW’s Institute for Distribution Excellence. In her new position, she will hold overall responsibility for thought leadership functions at NAW.

“The WF&FSA Executive Committee and Board would like to congratulate Ms. Lilly and wish her well in her new role at NAW,” said Rob Shibata, President of Mt. Eden Floral Company LLC in San Jose, CA and current WF&FSA President. “We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Mullins, from Thompson Management Associates, as our Interim Executive Vice President and we look forward to working with her moving forward.”

Ms. Mullins brings to WF&FSA a wealth of professional experience in association leadership, volunteer development, communications and fund raising, having served numerous industry associations in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland. She is an active community services volunteer, having received numerous awards for her efforts.

“I am excited to become a part of the floral industry, working in partnership with the WF&FSA Board and committees to further develop the association’s programs and services and to create additional value for its membership,” stated Mullins. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected industry organization.”

WF&FSA First Vice President, Santiago Cock-Rada of Liberty Blooms in Miami, FL noted that “Molly brings strong communications and organizational skills and will spend quality time getting to know our industry in the coming months. I look forward to working closely with her.”   

“Ms. Lilly will continue her commitment to distribution as she joins the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors as Senior Vice President,” said WF&FSA Past President, Alan Tanouye of Floralife, Inc., Walterboro, SC. “While she is leaving WF&FSA in her current capacity, I know that Trish will remain a friend of this industry – and of mine – for many years to come.”
