#1 RATED FTD® BOOT CAMP BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND FOR SHOP OWNERS & MANAGERS

ftdFTD University is proud to announce that FTD Boot Camp is back again with two sessions scheduled in 2014, April 7-9 and August 4-6. The three-day intensive workshop, designed for FTD shop owners and managers, is packed with priceless business, design and quality tips, and ideas to help sharpen skills and boost their knowledge to drive local business.

FTD Boot Camp, facilitated by FTD Education Consultant and former AIFD President Ann Jordan, is held in a small classroom setting to provide opportunity for open discussion and idea generation. The education course offers participants a wealth of information about how to drive local business to their shops, fine-tune design techniques and market their businesses.

Shop owners and managers with any skill level in business or design are encouraged to attend FTD Boot Camp and refresh their knowledge. “The three day intensive workshop focused on topics that were important to me as a new partner in an established flower shop,” exclaimed FTD Boot Camp graduate Brandi Sullivan, co-owner of Janette Florist, Windsor, ON, Canada. “FTD Boot Camp covered the latest floral trends, new techniques for everyday designs, maintaining exceptional customer service and quality control. I returned home energized and eager to apply what I had learned. Whether you are a new partner like me, or an owner with years of experience, there is something to learn at FTD Boot Camp. I highly recommend this experience.”

FTD Boot Camp sessions feature topics including:

  • Consumer trends
  • Profitability and cost of goods sold
  • Branding and marketing
  • Floral designs for younger generations
  • Effective sales techniques
  • Wedding designs
  • Many more

Since its inception in 2012, FTD Boot Camp has been rated the #1 FTD University program by participants that completed the workshop. FTD University course offerings have grown in popularity due to a need in the floral industry for comprehensive education. “I am extremely happy that I decided to attend FTD Boot Camp,” stated FTD Boot Camp graduate Carl Larese, owner of Larese Floral Design, Erie, PA. “I found it informative and am going to continue to benefit from it in the future by sending my employees. The topics covered provide useful information for all attendees. I made many beneficial contacts through the time spent networking. I look forward to FTD Re-Boot.”
