FTD RELEASES EDUCATION SCHEDULE FOR 2014

FTD University is excited to announce a robust schedule of education offerings planned for 2014 to help member florists learn new ways to improve profits and drive local business. The 2014 education calendar includes a variety of valuable programs taught by AIFD designers and industry-recognized experts to help FTD Florists strengthen their business and design skills.

 

The newest education opportunities from FTD are scholarships for florists to attend industry-leading events such as AIFD National Symposium and SAF Convention, as well as the popular FTD Boot Camp. FTD Florists have several career development opportunities this year.

The 2014 Education Calendar includes:

 

  • FTD® Boot Camp – April 7-9 and August 4-6

The three-day intensive workshop focuses on strengthening design and business techniques for shop owners and managers and will be held at FTD Headquarters.

 

  • FTD® Re-Boot – October 6-8

Take your business to the next level with this advanced course for FTD Boot Camp graduates, designed to put into action more innovative business and floral design strategies. Completion of FTD Boot Camp is required. The course will be held at FTD Headquarters.

 

  • FTD® Webinar Series

Six, FREE, one-hour webinars scheduled throughout the year on new, highly desired business topics that provide tips and tactics to help FTD Florists grow their local business. Members can learn without leaving their shop by logging in on their own or with their team right from their shop computer.

 

  • FTD Mercury Training

Hosted monthly, the three-day Mercury point of sale training is FREE and held at FTD Headquarters. It is a hands-on class to help shop owners learn how to maximize the capability of their POS.

 

  • FTD University Scholarships – FTD is giving away $10,000 in scholarships in 2014 to FTD Members and/or their employees to industry leading events such as AIFD National Symposium, SAF Convention and FTD Boot Camp! Apply at FTDi.com/FTDUniversity by the April 1, 2014 deadline.
