Karen and Dave Trostle of Sterling Acceptance Corporation will discuss key topics affecting the Marine Finance business in today’s economic environment. A review of the Marine Lenders 4th quarter survey will point out changes in consumer quality, volume statistics for new and used vessels and forecasts for the rest of 2014. In addition, collateral values and broker reporting will be highlighted. Lender’s legislative concerns will be addressed to include the second home deduction and the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) rulings and guidelines that will affect marine installment loans.
