Government Service Symposium update and FAQ

William Goldenberg, MD

Welcome to GSS 2022 in sunny, warm Orlando, Florida! In this newsletter, we are excited to share with you a preview of what this packed conference has to offer. Let’s start with some amazing keynotes–headed by Rear Admiral Gillingham (Navy Surgeon General) and Dr. Gillian Schmitz (current ACEP President). This year we are trying something completely new–round robin labs! Have you previously struggled with funding to attend an ultrasound workshop or an airway lab to keep your KSA’s intact? We have them both and it’s included in the price! Plus, this year’s airway lab is headed by Dr. Rich Levitan of Airwaycam fame. As usual, we have our regular, but equally-stellar, sim wars and research competitions. No matter what you are interested in, we look forward to welcoming you to the theme park capital of the world.
