Full Time Patient Service Representative

Physician Practice in Royal Oak is seeking a full time Patient Service Representative to start immediately.

Qualifications:

• Prior front desk experience preferred
• Able to answer and operate a multi-line phone
• Verify insurance
• Use a scanner and copy machine
• Balance cash received
• Able to learn EMR and scheduling system
• Work well with own department as well as other departments in the practice

Description:

• Registering, scheduling, verifying patient insurance information
• Collecting fees for patients seen in the practice
• Must be able to take accurate and detailed messages from patients and other sources from multi-line phone system and routed to the appropriate physician and/or other staff member
• Must be pleasant with good customer service skills, patient and able to work under pressure without reacting negatively
