Position................ Clinical Coordinator

Job Description.......... The primary responsibility of oversight of student placement into clinical sites and oversight of academic matters related to rotations. Specific duties include working with a part-time clinical coordinator to develop new sites and nurture existing sites; scheduling clinical site placements with students and preceptors; assuring that clinical schedules are correct and updated to the E*Value system; communicating with preceptors about matters related to student placements and schedules; communicating with the part-time clinical coordinator, assistant clinical coordinator, and program director about changes to clinical placements; coordinating and attending all departmental professional development seminars; completing grading of rotation assignments, exams, OSCEs, etc.; submitting final grades to the Registrar; and other duties as assigned by the program director.

Qualifications required: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program. Maintenance of a current NCCPA certification, minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited university/college, minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience as a physician assistant, eligible for Ohio state licensure.
