Job Description.......... Marietta College is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. The systems-based curriculum is 26 months with 12-month didactic and 14-month clinical phases.

Serve as lecturer, lab instructor, small group facilitator and evaluator in assigned didactic courses Advise and provide academic counseling for didactic and clinical students Oversee and provide evaluation and assessment for select clinical rotations Serve on departmental committees as appointed Assist with Program self-assessment and improvement Other duties as assigned by Program Director

Requirements:

Terminal degree in field (Master’s degree in PA Studies)
Current certification (NCCPA — PAs)
Current or eligible for Ohio state licensure
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Teaching experience highly desirable
Proficiency with educational and office technology (i.e. Microsoft Office and PowerPoint)
Minimum of two years of clinical experience required; minimum of 3 years of combined teaching and clinical experience preferred

This is a full-time 12-month faculty position. Marietta College offers a salary commensurate with qualifications and excellent benefits package.

The Department of Physician Assistant Studies has dedicated teaching space which includes one classroom (seats 36 students), a clinical skills laboratory, and four simulated exam rooms with high definition cameras for clinical skills examinations, a simulation lab with adult, pregnant women, child and infant manikins, four small group-study rooms, and a student lounge.
