| Job Description | Opportunity to join our dedicated team of Neurosurgeons supporting 6 physicians and providing surgical, out-patient, in-patient, and emergency care and services. May cover dual roles: One that is 1 to 1 with the physician performing rounds and clinic with approximately 40% of time involved in surgery. Second is In-house PA role performing admissions, consults, discharges and call coverage, with approximately 25% of time in surgery-related activity. Typical shifts are 8 AM - 5 PM averaging 42 hours per week. Also will be needed to participate in shift rotations to include some weekends. Job Requirements: o Bachelor's degree and successful completion of a Master’s in Physician Assistant studies through an accredited program. o Current physician assistant license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for licensure o Hospital-based medicine experience helpful o Neurosurgery or general surgery experience helpful o Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills o Ability to effectively triage, organize and prioritize o Ability to function as part of a team o Proficient computer skills o Ability to maintain confidentiality |
