  The Physician Assistant Program at Case Western Reserve University invites applications to fill a junior level faculty position. This is a non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, and is a full-time, 12 month faculty position reporting directly to the Physician Assistant Program Director.

The primary responsibilities of this position include: engaging with the university’s working group on interprofessional healthcare education in the development and implementation of interprofessional curriculum; development and management of simulation across the PA curriculum; teaching; student advisement, mentoring and monitoring of student performance and evaluation and analysis of program learning outcomes.

Additional responsibilities will include: grant writing; oversight of medical informatics; data mining, curricular mapping and assisting with the development of research opportunities within the PA program as well as active participation in maintaining PA program accreditation.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be expected to engage in scholarship and research, and participate in university service including active participation on department, school and university committees. This includes active participation and leadership in the PA program admissions process as well as PA program community outreach activities and professional service as related to the mission, vision, core values and goals of the program.

Qualifications for this position include a minimum of an earned Master’s Degree, proven clinical precepting and/or teaching experience and experience managing outcomes research. Advanced computer skills required with proficiency in using databases and clinical evaluation software. Experience in PA education and clinical experience is desirable.
