The Allen Group has been engaged to conduct a national search for a Physician Assistant-Urology located at a Top Ranked Medical Center in Ohio.
Job Description:
The PA will provide urological health care services to the outpatient setting managed by the Physician group. The Medical Center is a nationally recognized multidisciplinary, innovative and state-of-the-art program for patient care, education, applied research and innovation. The Center offers comprehensive and advanced treatments for patients with chronic disease and disability. The PA will work directly with the physicians in the center who perform urology procedures and report directly to the Attending Physician of the day. Conduct assessments and develop patient care plans and evaluate outcomes of patient care and initiate changes accordingly. Develop collaborative practice arrangements as well as a knowledge of diagnostic codes, procedure codes, and billing information to provide patient care, billing, and practice management. The PA will serve as a resource for staff throughout the facility and will help with the creation and execution of clinical trials.
Qualifications :
Graduate of AMA- approved Physician Assistant Program
Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or significant clinical experience as a PA
Ohio license to practice as a PA and eligible to apply for licensure to prescribe from the OSMB
Urology experience is required
