Summary:

Provides routine care and management of the patient with acute and chronic complaints, in collaboration with the supervising physician(s) and through implementation of standardized procedures. Serves as a clinical expert to include patient care management, education, consultation and research activities.

 

Formal Education Required:

a. Masters Degree in Nursing with completion of Advanced Practice program in area of expertise and National certification as ACNP or CNS.

b. Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.

c. Certificate of Authority to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Ohio.

d. Successful completion of orientation program, supervised by a designated physician/ACNP.

 

Experience and Training Required:

a. Prefer one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a clinic setting with both adult and pediatric patients desirable.

b. Current license to practice in the state of Ohio.

c. Current Certificate of Authority to practice in the state of Ohio within 6 months of hire.

d. Current Certificate to Prescribe or eligibility to apply for prescriptive privileges in the state of Ohio within one year of date of hire.
