Lead PA - Urology

Summa Health Medical Group is currently seeking to hire, Lead Physician Assistant in our Urology Group. This position is located in Akron, Ohio and will be working with several providers in the department.

Summary:
Collaborates with the Clinical Manager and Medical Director to manage, monitor, and coordinate the care of the urologic patients throughout their continuum. This includes participating and following guidelines established by the American Urologic Association (AUA) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
Oversees the education, manages clinical practice and conducts quality review of the urologic APNs/PAs for Summa Health System. Provides professional clinical care and facilitates the interventions and therapies to in office & hospital patients following Summa Health System’s established standards and practices.
Formal Education Required:
-PA licensure in the State of Ohio
-Current Certificate of Authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio
-Current Certificate to Prescribe in the State of Ohio
Experience & Training Required:
-Four (4) years experience in Urology care in PA role.
-ACLS/BLS certification
