Premier HealthNet, Premier Health Specialists and Upper Valley Professional Corporation offer a variety of Physician Assistant positions with varying degrees of responsibility.

Our mid-level providers, in conjunction with the center's Physician/s and clinical staff, are responsible for exemplary patient care and continuity of service.

Responsibilities will vary with each position, and also according to specialty.

While standards for all employees are set at a high level, senior clinical staff is expected to motivate by example. They must be accessible to their physicians, staff and supervisors.

Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues are essential. Computer literacy is required and must include Excel, Word and Outlook. Electronic Medical Records experience is an advantage, preferably EPIC.

A thorough understanding of HIPAA law is required and professional discretion must be demonstrated at all times.

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain Certificate to Prescribe and must maintain current licensure.


Dayton, Ohio

A well-qualified Physician Assistant, with the desire to work within a growing specialty practice is required.

Surgical experience preferred, First-Assist. Burn and wound experience will be an advantage.

This position will be based on the Miami Valley Hospital campus, and will consist of 4 ½ days per week, plus one weekend per month.

The successful candidate will support the practice Physician/s within both the office and hospital environment.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, patient visits, both supervised and independent, follow up care including post op visits, and general health and wellness.

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing services to in-patients and out-patients with burn and wound illnesses. This will include critical care. The focus will be management of acute and chronically ill patient populations.

Quality of care and exemplary patient relations ability will be an ongoing requirement.

Applicants must be a graduate (with Master's) of an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification. Current Certificate to Prescribe is a great advantage.

A qualified APRN will also be considered.
