HB284 Passed by the Senate
Substitute HB284 was passed unanimously by the Senate today. It was amended on the Senate floor to include language from SB287 that deals with chemical dependency counselor licensing. This is not an unusual occurance in the last few days of a General Assembly as everybody is looking for a vehicle to get their bill passed by the end of the year.
We have assurances that the House will not have a problem with the Senate floor amendment and it should be on the House floor agenda for tomorrow (December 13).
