Enrollment Guidelines for Providers Who Only Order or Certify 

Medicare claims that are the result of an order or a referral must contain the National Provider Identifier (NPI) and the name of the ordering/referring provider. This applies to all claims that require an ordering/referring provider, including claims for durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) submitted to Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractors (DME MACs). Appropriate Date of Service for Part B

The A/B Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) collaborated to provide a single resource to identify the appropriate date of service in various situations. The resource titled Correct Date of Service for Specific Services covers items from surgery and post-surgical services, Chronic Care Management (CCM), Transition Care Management (TCM), to services that may happen over more than one day. Please take advantage of this information to confirm you are submitting the correct date of service for your services.

The 2019 Physician Fee Schedules and Anesthesia Conversion Factors have been published on the WPS GHA website based on the CY 2019 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) Final Rule.
