HETS Q100 - Changes that Affect the WPS GHA Portal and IVR 

CMS deployed the HIPAA Eligibility Transaction System (HETS) Q100 release on April 6, 2019. This update allows the WPS GHA Portal and the IVR to provide additional eligibility information.
 
The WPS GHA Portal now includes: 

• Updated Smoking Cessation/Counseling data on the Summary tab:
  • Base Sessions
  • Remaining sessions
  • The initial cessation date within 12 months (if applicable) 

• Updated ESRD data on the ESRD tab:ESRD Coverage Period Effective Date
  • ESRD Coverage Period End Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Dialysis Start Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Dialysis End Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Transplant Date (if applicable)
  • The ESRD tab no longer lists a dialysis method code or method start date

• New Preventative Services Code for Hepatitis B Screening (G0499) on the Preventative Services tab 

The IVR now includes: 

• Updated ESRD data:ESRD Coverage Period Effective Date
  • ESRD Coverage Period End Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Dialysis Start Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Dialysis End Date (if applicable)
  • ESRD Transplant Date (if applicable)

Draft LCD Open Meeting

WPS GHA will hold a Draft Local Coverage Determinations (LCD) Open Meeting for persons wishing to provide input concerning LCDs that are currently in the development process. The next Draft LCD Open Meeting will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM CT (2:00 PM ET).
