MSHO Managed Care Committee Volunteer Positions Open

PLEASE - We Need Your Help!

Are you willing to keep an eye on one payer while MSHO and other committee members keeps an eye on others? Working as a team, we have a better chance of staying on top of the multitude of payer changes! Consider joining the MSHO Managed Care Committee.

MSHO Managed Care Committee volunteers are assigned to monitor an individual Michigan payer. MSHO members may also contact a Managed Care Committee member to ask questions about a health plan or discuss issues related to that payer.

Each committee member works closely with the Society to address any reimbursement issues that arise with that payer.  They also keep an eye on that payer and send any updates they think would benefit the membership to MSHO for us to include in our Reimbursement Bulletin.  

Please volunteer for any health plan - the more eyes we have, the stronger we are!  We are specifically looking for committee members for (at least) the following plans:

• Aetna/Cofinity
• Anthem Blue Cross
• Humana
• Managed Medicare Plans
• Molina
• Physicians Health Plan
• Total Health Care
