Brett's Take on Why You Don’t Want to Miss MSPCA’s Business Building Blocks & Connections
Dear MSPCA Members,
Hope this finds you well — and ready for something that could really move the needle for your business.
On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 10:30 am–4:30 pm, MSPCA is hosting Business Building Blocks & Connections, a training and networking event at the Mission Center in Fulton, MD. And no, this isn’t just another seminar. If you run things (or want to run them better), you should be there.
As the current President of the Maryland State Pest Control Association, and as an attendee at last year's event, I can say that this training is well worth the time away from the office for you and your team.
Here’s what you — and your team — will get:
Why You’ll Want to Be There
Problem You’re Facing | What the Event Delivers |
Leadership gaps / team culture is good but not great | Leadership That Inspires, plus Middle Manager Training to build consistency, accountability & performance |
Feeling overwhelmed by tech / worried about falling behind | A hands-on session called AI in Action to see how AI can boost efficiency without turning your business into a sci-fi movie. |
Marketing isn’t pulling in the right clients or return | Getting into the Nitty-Gritty of Marketing will help you get clarity on brand vs digital, track what actually works, and stop wasting money. |
Fleet costs, downtime, maintenance, driver issues — your trucks are bleeding $$ | Fleet Management Mastery shows how to wring more out of every vehicle, reduce waste & save money. |
Plus, the networking alone is worth the time — morning peer meetups, lunch conversations, and a wrap-up “Chat & Cheers” happy hour. Connections often spark the biggest ideas.
Who Should Come
If you are an owner, manager, salesperson, CSR, or admin leader in a pest management company — bring yourself and bring your team. The more perspectives, the more value.
Practical Details

Where: Mission Center Baltimore-Washington Conference of the UMC, 11711 East Market Place, Suite 1, Fulton, MD

My Take: This Event Is Worth It
Look: I know we all get pitched events all the time. Some are helpful, many aren’t. But this one’s different. These are practical takeaways — not just motivational fluff. You’ll walk away with specific tools and ideas you can apply the next day. If you come willing to listen and implement, you’ll leave ahead. And sometimes, ahead is enough.
What You Should Do Next
- Register yourself and your team now — spaces fill (especially for those “learning + lunch + happy hour” slots).
- Look over the agenda & decide which sessions are most relevant for each team member so you can register the most appropriate people from your team to attend and learn.
- Plan ahead: bring questions/challenges your business is facing. The Q&A / networking time is where gold shows up.
Let’s build something solid together — your business, and the broader MSPCA community. Hope to see you there.
Best regards,
Brett Lieberman
