Advocacy Overview
Since 1980, CREDA Northern Virginia, formerly known as NAIOP Northern Virginia, has been the voice of the region's commercial real estate industry. By pooling together the experience and expertise of our members - developers, property owners, investors, attorneys, engineers, architects, brokers, construction managers, and other industry professionals - CREDA provides informed and collaborative positions on the policies that shape our local commercial real estate market and Virginia’s economic future.
CREDA advances policies that support a strong, competitive commercial real estate industry while fostering vibrant, sustainable communities. Through advocacy and strong stakeholder engagement, we help shape public policy and educate lawmakers and community members on the value and importance of a vibrant commercial real estate industry.
