Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Blanchard Valley Medical Associates, Denise Kunkelman oversees daily operations for a multi-specialty medical group, partnering closely with physicians to drive efficiency, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Previously, Denise has held regional and executive leadership roles across multiple states, leading large, multi-site organizations and achieving sustained improvements in revenue, occupancy, and operational performance. With a strong foundation in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and financial management, Denise is also committed to mission-driven service as a Cancer Patient Services Board Member, supporting governance and community-focused care initiatives. Denise received her Bachelor’s Degree, BGSU, Human Development and Family Studies, graduated in 2004.
