Friday, October 12: The entire day will focus on Diversion and Prescriptive Drug Abuse topics. The majority of presenters will be from the US Attorney Generals Office with several Ohio physicians giving talks in their area of expertise.
Topics will include an overview of prescription drug abuse in Ohio, prosecution of drug abuse cases in Ohio, the DEA Drug Diversion Task Force, case studies of current drug diversion prosecutions, an Overview of OARSS, an overview of high intensity drug trafficking areas, street drugs and ED treatments and treating withdrawal.
This one day offers 8 pharmacology CME credits.
Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14: These two days will provide an additional 12 CME credits that will include 6 additional pharmacology CME.
This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 20.00 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Physician assistants should claim only those hours actually spent participatin gin the CME activity. This program was planned in accordance with AAPA's CME Standards for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.
