PA Week Profile of the Day: Meet Richard Bernhardt, PA-C

Richard Bernhardt, PA-C, has been a PA-C since 2009. He currently works in Emergency Medicine and serves as the PA/APRN Coordinator at Lakewood Family Health Center and Lutheran Hospital’s Emergency Department. He is a dedicated PA preceptor and coordinates Emergency Services Grand Rounds.

Passionate about team-based care and the versatility of the PA profession, he values the camaraderie within healthcare and the ability to work across specialties.

During PA Week, PA Bernhardt enjoys educating others about the PA role by decorating clinical spaces, sharing informative resources, and celebrating with goodie bags and treats!
