Ohio's Kristin Homoki, DMSc, PA-C Honored as an AAPA Distinguished Fellow (DFAAPA)
The American Academy of Physician Associates has named Ohio's Kristin Homoki, DMSc, PA-C, as an AAPA Distinguished Fellow!
Recognized for their commitment to advancing the PA profession and the health of their communities, Distinguished Fellows are AAPA's most dedicated members. AAPA established the Distinguished Fellow program in 2007 in order to recognize PAs’ exceptional contributions to the profession through professional achievement, leadership, professional interaction, learning, and community service. Fewer than two percent of the entire AAPA membership have earned the distinction of Distinguished Fellow.
PA Homoki advanced into healthcare administration as Director of PA Education at Cleveland Clinic, gaining expertise in policy, regulation, and education. She later led both surgical and medical APP teams at Hillcrest and Mentor hospitals, and in 2025, became APP Director of the East Submarket, overseeing operations across five hospitals in Northeast Ohio. Most recently, she was appointed Director of PA Professional Practice at Cleveland Clinic.
A passionate advocate for the PA profession, Homoki actively volunteers in legislative and advocacy efforts at both state and national levels and currently serves as OAPA's Secretary-Treasurer. Her leadership and dedication continue to shape the future of advanced practice providers.
In reflecting on her accomplishment, Homoki stated "I’m very excited to be part of this outstanding and dedicated group of PAs who have consistently dedicated their time and efforts to our profession."
OAPA celebrates the good work of our members and congratulates Kristin on this major professional achievement!
