About the Opportunity:
Want to know what it feels like to practice retail pharmacy as it should be? We practice pharmacy with an independent feel and immediate provider reach-back ability. 9-5*(ish), M-F working hours, no major holidays or weekends. Competitive salary. The Retail Pharmacist will work in our outpatient pharmacy serving patients within our Federally Qualified Health Center. This is a unique opportunity to practice pharmacy in a patient centered environment, not a high-volume retail setting. Our pharmacy exclusively serves established clinic patients that allows meaningful interaction and a strong focus on medication access. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff. Accurately prepare, review, and dispense medication to patients. Provide consultation and guidance on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions. Monitor patient health and medication therapy to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain compliance with federal, state and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
