Are you planning a presentation in your community?

Are you planning a presentation in your community? Check out the OPA Resource Center of materials available for loan to OPA members.

The Ohio Pharmacists Association, through the Public & Professional Relations Committee, has developed lists of resources for pharmacist members to give community presentations on medication safety and abuse, poison prevention, OTC medications and breastfeeding, immunizations, cough and cold medication awareness, inhalent abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, careers in pharmacy, and lead poisoning. Information on the proper disposal of medications is being revised to reflect newly released guidelines.

These Public Relations materials are loaned without charge to OPA members presenting this information in the community. We commend pharmacists for their efforts in these areas.

These materials and additional Patient Ecucation Resources such as posters (Top 10 Questions to Ask Your Pharmacist and Did You Know) that you can personalize and reproduce for patients, may be found in the Members Only section, News & Info: Public Relations Materials. Last Updated: 09/11/2008,

In addition, there is a  Directory of Historic Materials.

You may submit your request for any of the materials by completing the online order form which is linked to each of the directories.

We appreciate return of the materials in a timely fashion so that we may keep them in circulation.

We welcome feedback and would be happy to include your efforts in an upcoming journal.
